Areas of study include: knife skills and butchering, professionalism, cooking techniques and food preparation as well as a broad array of inventory control and regional and international cuisine preparation. With both a theoretical and practical side, this 48 week course provides the student with all he or she needs to find gainful employment in the Culinary industries. Intensely career focused, the Dorsey Schools culinary arts program includes a 12 week externship, which gives not only experience, but the contacts needed to start on a career. Job placement assistance and financial aid are available.
