Provides instruction in nutritional home cooking and homemaking in harmony with individual, community and cultural traditions, with respect and care for the environment.

The goals of Mary Jane’s Cooking School

To promote the development of life skills in the selection, preparation and serving of food for personal and family well being.
To provide education and information about nutrition, diet and healthy home environment.
To encourage effective budgeting and communication skills.
To assist students toward related education and training with business, government and community groups.

Provides education in environmentally responsible homemaking and nutritional home cooking, using whole foods, is done through the following approaches:

Workshops and classes for the general public;
Sponsored programs and classes;
Training programs with an employment focus;
Participation in community events and organizations.

Mary Jane’ Cooking School offers cooking classes in a comfortable environment at 252 Arlington Street, in the centre of Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. In addition, we provide off-site culinary courses that meet special needs and interests on demand. Fees are based on a per class rate for individuals, and through group rates for sponsored classes.
